Despite typically avoiding alcohol, he gave in to the festive mood. “I rarely drink these days, but I thought, ‘Why not join in?’ I don’t hold back when I decide to do something, and since I hadn’t touched alcohol in a while, it hit me fast. By 9 pm, after starting at 7, I was already feeling it.”

The celebration culminated in a total memory lapse for Aamir, who awoke with no memory of the touching speeches or lively moments, despite seeming fine at the time. “I acted normally, engaging with everyone, but the next morning, it was all gone. That was frightening,” he confessed, reflecting on the disturbing episode.
